Siren Deluxe.

Intriguing conceptual art by New Zealand based artist Siren Deluxe, focusing on psychosexual, gender, corporal, censorship and religious themes, an almost female homage to Mapplethorpe. The mannequin series is very stark and beautiful. (Warning: sexual content.)

RIP Corinne Day.

Very sad, photographer Corinne Day, notorious for launching the career of Kate Moss and the early grunge / photorealism movement has died of a brain tumor at 48. Some of these photos are absolutely iconic now. Worth another look is her book Diary, chronicling the hard times of friends and family.
